Lymphoedema Physiotherapist 0.6 FTE
Training requirements include :
Completion of Lymphoedema Practice for the Upper limb - 20 hrs face-to-face plus 35 hours of self-directed work.
Assessment and management of Primary lymphoedema, including surveillance, fitting of compression garments, and exercise provision across the Taranaki region.
Ability to work within Physiotherapy departments at Taranaki Base Hospital, Hawera Hospital, or in community locations.

About you :
Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate.
Valid NZ Driver's license.
Ideally, at least five years of professional experience.
Relevant training and experience in lymphoedema management.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, self-motivation, and passion for ongoing learning.
Additional training includes :
Breast and Lymphoedema Practice for the Lower Limb and Genital region - 20 hrs face-to-face plus 35 hours self-directed work.
Two online Principles of Lymphoedema Management modules (75 hours each).
We seek physiotherapists trained or willing to train in lymphoedema management.
About the role :
Work closely with Medical Specialists, Cancer CNSs, and Breast Nurses.
Passion for teaching self-management strategies.
