Lymphoedema Physiotherapist - Taranaki
Permanent Part-time 24 hrs / week
Make a difference to health outcomes of Taranaki patients with Lymphoedema or at risk of developing Lymphoedema after cancer diagnosis.

About the Role
Assessment and management of Primary lymphoedema, including surveillance, fitting of compression garments, and exercise provision across the Taranaki region.
Work within the Physiotherapy department at Taranaki Base Hospital, Hawera Hospital, or in community locations.
Complete required training : Lymphoedema Practice for the Upper limb (20 hrs face-to-face + 35 hrs self-directed) and Lower limb & Genital region (20 hrs face-to-face + 35 hrs self-directed), plus two online Principles of Lymphoedema Management modules (75 hrs each).
Collaborate with Medical Specialists, Cancer CNSs, and Breast Nurses.
About You
Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate.
At least five years of relevant physiotherapy experience.
Training or willingness to train in lymphoedema management.
Problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated with a passion for ongoing learning.
NZ Driver's license.
Excellent computer skills.
Cultural knowledge; Te Reo speaking is an advantage.
