Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Planning :
• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the supply chain.
• Inventory Management :
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer needs and minimize costs.
• Transportation Management :
• Oversee the selection of carriers, negotiate rates, and manage transportation schedules for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Warehouse Management :
• Supervise warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and distribution of goods, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Order Fulfillment :
• Coordinate and control the order cycle, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Supplier Relationship Management :
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and reliable supply of materials.
• Team Leadership :
• Manage and motivate logistics teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Budget Management :
• Develop and manage logistics budgets, monitoring expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance :
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to logistics and transportation.
• Performance Monitoring :
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and implement improvements to optimize logistics operations.
• Problem Solving :
• Identify and resolve complex logistics challenges, such as delays, disruptions, and cost overruns.
• Customer Service :
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate delivery of goods and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and drive efficiency gains within the logistics function.
