The Titiro Whakamua Teen Parent Unit is an attached unit of Heretaunga College and shares onsite building facilities with a Kindergarten managed by the Hutt City Kindergarten Association.
The Teen Parent Unit serves the wider Hutt Valley region and is funded for 35 akonga and 3.5 FTE teaching staff.
The Kindergarten serves the tamariki of the Teen Parent Unit akonga, the staff of Heretaunga College and the surrounding community.This is a critical senior leadership position requiring a sophisticated and broad ranging set of administrative, pedagogical and relational skills, and a sensitivity to mataurangi Maori.
