Hutt City Kindergartens have been growing young learners for 95 years in Lower Hutt, providing quality and affordable early childhood education.

The Head Teacher positionHutt City Kindergartens is seeking an experienced kindergarten leader with the skills and passion to maintain the quality service that Moera Kindergarten is known for.This is a fixed term position, while the permanent Head Teacher is on parental leave.
You must be available between Wednesday 21st January and Friday 18th December.Moera Kindergarten operates a termly model, meaning that it closes during the school holidays.Responsibilities : lead collaborative working relationships that inspire the team to excelprovide an inclusive learning environment that is focused on the development of tamariki's social wellbeingeffectively manage the financial resources available, to support the kindergarten operationswork collaboratively with outside agenciesmaintain and promote respectful and positive relationships with whanau and the communitydevelop innovative and creative play spaces that encourage tamariki to explore and learn.You will also have a high level of knowledge and practice of Te Whariki and current learning and teaching theories.What we offer : Regular PLD opportunities, including Head Teacher Leaderships Days (4 per year).
