About the Role :
As a Bookkeeper at Sam's Contracting Limited, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the business with financial reporting.
Your expertise will help ensure the smooth financial operation of our horticulture business.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and financial records
Creating and processing invoices, purchase orders, and bank deposits
Prepare monthly financial reports
Support payroll processing
Preparing forms and reports for business tax obligations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
Requirements :
Level 4 or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field or a Bachelors in any field.
3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role may substitute any formal qualifcation requirement.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, etc.) would be an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and time management skills
