Overview
Leading and supporting across multiple sectors, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors
- Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
- Master plan and feasibility budgets
- Estimating
- Cost checking of developing design
- Value engineering
- Tender evaluations and analysis
- Contract negotiations
- Cash flow projections
- Procurement
- Cost reporting
- Evaluation of variations
- Payment recommendations
- Final account reporting
- Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
- Investment analysis
- Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Qualifications
10+ years project experienceRelevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas : Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or ConstructionExtensive experience in cost estimating and planning software / Cost XDemonstrated track record of winning and managing projectsAdditional Information
