One of New Zealand's largest construction-equipment groups is recruiting for a qualified mechanics for their workshop in Gore and Invercargill.What We're Looking ForTrade-qualified heavy-diesel tech or 3–4 years' hands-on earth-moving experienceProven skills with forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and big dirt-chewersFault-finding mechanic : mechanical, hydraulic, and electricalStrong customer-facing communication skills, with the patience and clarity to explain complex repair procedures in a professional and approachable mannerWhat You'll Be DoingService and maintenance on breakdowns in the workshop and out in the wild (field service)Run pre-delivery tests on shiny new (and lovingly used) machines before they meet their forever ownersDiagnose gremlins fast, smash out quality repairs, log it all in clear job cardsMinimum 40 hours / week – overtime there when you want to fluff up the paychequeWhat's In It for You?
