Appliance & Coffee Technician

The Aotea Electric Group of companies is a highly successful, well-established electrical services company.

We are seeking to employ an Appliance & Coffee Technician to join our company, which is based in Invercargill.This position involves working across a range of busy hospitality businesses throughout Southland, carrying out repairs and servicing on commercial catering equipment, espresso machines, and other general electrical work in line with the license held.

The role also requires participation in a 1 in 10 on-call roster to support our clients outside of normal business hours.As a technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of appliances, with a particular focus on commercial coffee machines.

The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.The successful applicant will offer : NZ residency.A Limited Electrical License (minimum requirement).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.A positive, motivated attitude with a high work ethic.Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.A current class 1 driver's license (manual preferred).
