Overview
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Field Service Technician who can hit the ground running and join a busy workshop team.
This role offers a variety of mechanical work – including servicing and breakdowns in the field, workshop repairs and using the latest John Deere diagnostic tools and precision agriculture technology.
You will be working on some of the world's greatest brands - John Deere, Krone, Kramer, and Giltrap – on small to large horsepower tractors and farm equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform servicing and breakdown repairs in the field and in the workshop
Use John Deere diagnostic tools and precision agriculture technology
Diagnose and fault-find to identify issues and implement solutions
Maintain tidy and organized work practices
Provide high-quality service to customers and work well within a team
Qualifications
Trade qualified or equivalent relevant industry experience
Diagnosing / fault-finding skills
Full NZ driver's licence
Self-starter – able to work autonomously
PC literate and comfortable using software systems
The right attitude, including taking ownership of your work and being willing to learn, safety awareness, and being a great team member
Enjoys maintaining good relationships with customers & workmates alike
