We are seeking engaging, innovative teachers who have strong communication skills and are collaborative team players as these skills will be needed in all you do.You will be required to work in mainstream schools and other specialist schools to work closely with DHH students, whānau and school staff / teams. These are permanent, fulltime roles.Engaging within your assigned caseload with related record keeping and liaison with families and whanau to assist with student participation and success in their education and life outcomes.Proven best practice and experience working with Deaf children and / or working with mainstream children.Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or an experienced NZ registered teacher.Use of own car with mileage reimbursed (with conditions).You will have existing skills, or demonstrate a willingness to develop proficiency, in New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) and listening and spoken language practices for DHH learners.Recent practical experience working with the early levels of the New Zealand Curriculum.Please apply online at
