Resource Teacher of Learning and BehaviourFull time, PermanentPrimary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Resource teacher1MU + SDAWe are looking for a dynamic and innovative teacher (or trained RTLB) to join our team to use their knowledge and skills to support teachers and schools (Y0-10) to build their inclusive practices.The cluster is divided into 2 service teams; Papakura and Franklin and RTLB work the majority of the time in their specific area of allocation although there is flexibility around this for certain projects.The role requires daily travel to support teachers across our cluster.

A full, clean NZ driver's licence and use of your own car is required.Previous leadership experienceStrong Literacy and Numeracy teaching practice at level one and two of the NZCSpecialist skills to support neurodiverse learnersA commitment to collaborative, culturally responsive, evidence-informed and strength-based practiceExcellent interpersonal skills to form partnerships with a range of stakeholdersConfidence in dealing with challenging conversations and situations to facilitate positive outcomesBe reflective, solutions focused, adaptable and open to learningTeam player with a sense of humourExceptional time management / organisational skillsA highly competent user of technologyHigh energy to meet the physical demands of an itinerant positionFull NZ Teacher Registration and the right to work in New Zealand is a requirement.
