About The Opportunity

We're looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Wellington market site in Granada North. This is an interactive sales role on our market floor, selling directly to customers across all of our fruit and vegetable categories. Key responsibilities include :

• Drive sales and service to grow market share and margin performance
• Build quality relationships with key customers and suppliers
• Implement product promotional programmes
• Utilise market insights to identify new business opportunities

Due to the nature of our industry, early starts (5am / 6am) are required, however this means the afternoons are yours to enjoy!

About You

This role is an ideal opportunity to move into sales from a retail, customer service or logistics background - we'll provide you with training and support to grow your sales capability. If you already have sales experience and knowledge of fresh produce or the FMCG sector, that would be a bonus!

You have exceptional communication and people skills, and a positive, proactive attitude. The world of fresh produce moves fast, so you'll need top time management and prioritisation skills, and the ability to solve logistical challenges against the clock.
