While not a front-line role, this is a family business, and while there is front-line customer support, Paihia has a friendly community, and a willingness to communicate with customers from time to time on technical issues would prove helpful.If you like fishing and the outdoors, even better.Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a range of vehicle makes / modelsConduct Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections to NZTA standardsCarry out routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairsLiaise with customers to explain repairs and provide trusted adviceMaintain workshop safety and equipment standardsStay updated on evolving automotive technologies and techniquesBe friendly and fit in with this smaller but close family businessSkills soughtWe\'re seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with good general diagnostic expertise, a current WOF / AVI certificate and the ability to fault find, service, and repair a wide range of light vehicles.Valid WOF / AVI certification is essentialGood general diagnostic skills and experience in general automotive repairsStrong teamwork ethic with clear communication abilitiesValid driver\'s licenseTrade qualifications or equivalent experience accepted, providing the appropriate skills are heldIn returnWork where others vacation!
