Overview

Bay of Islands Vets is seeking an experienced large animal veterinarian to join our friendly, supportive team in the stunning Far North.

We're an independent, mixed practice with four clinics and a new purpose-built hub underway in Waipapa.

Work pattern

A 4-day work week is an option, a healthy work-life balance, and a caseload focused on dairy, with some beef and lifestyle blocks.

Most farms are small, family-run operations where relationships matter.

Role & roster

You'll join a 1-in-6 large animal after-hours roster, with generous time in lieu and call-out fees.

Occasional small animal emergency support may be required.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with

NMAC

accreditation, and experience in

InCalf

and

WormWise

A passion for dairy cattle and mentoring is essential.
