Maintenance And Grounds Person

Auto Lodge Motels is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Grounds Person to ensure the economical, efficient and effective maintenance of our two properties, Plymouth International and Auto Lodge.

This is a varied role and requires a jack of all trades type of person with good communication skills.

Full-time or Part-time position available.

Responsibilities

Maintain buildings inside and out

Ensure grounds are consistently presented at a high-standard

General maintenance of all plant and equipment; liaise with key staff regarding equipment faults, and arrange equipment repair when required.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

Assist with conference set-ups

Requirements

Previous experience in maintenance, repairs or a related field preferred

Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work and general building maintenance

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

Flexibility to handle various tasks and projects as required

Personal Qualities

Hard working and physically fit

Ability to use initiative and prioritise workloads

Ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision as well as work effectively as a team member

Good communication is essential

Positive attitude
