We are seeking an inspiring and experienced team leader who believes in building positive relationships with emerging adolescents, as well as being passionate about learning and able to build strong relationships with their class, teaching team and wider community.

We value the culture in Y7–8 and we work collaboratively to maintain a positive high functioning working environment. Experience in the Y7–8 year level is essential in order to maintain this culture and working environment we currently have.

The ideal candidate will motivate and engage our ākonga by keeping them at the center of their learning journey through creative teaching practices in literacy and numeracy. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the understanding and ability to teach using culturally responsive pedagogy is essential.

The successful applicant must be a NZ registered teacher and be committed to professional growth.
