About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Store Person to load and unload our clients' freight, ensuring the product is received in a prime and quality condition.

This is a fulltime role working on our early shift, Monday to Friday 2 : 00am - 10 : 00am, and Saturdays 4 : 00am - 9 : 00am, based at our Hawkes Bay branch located in Hastings.

What you'll be doing

Assist with the loading / unloading of trucks

Positioning pallets and sorting freight

Checking line-haul units are operating at correct temperatures before opening doors to unload.

Ensuring both the chiller and freezer floors are clear every morning and any remaining items are loaded to the correct runs before departure

Ensuring Health and Safety compliance – both personally and within the team

About You

OSH approved, up-to-date Forklift License

Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating a Forklift

Experience in freight loading in temperature-controlled environments – advantageous

Keen understanding of inventory management and cycle of order fulfilment

Experience working in temperature-controlled environments - advantageous
