Resource Recovery Officer - Tip Shop, Southern Landfill

Āu ake mahi | What you'll do
We're looking for two new team members to help ensure our busy Tip Shop and Recycle Centre is resourced and up to meeting the customer demand during our busy summer period. These are fixed term roles until the end of April 2026 with shifts covering Thursday-Sunday. Note, the shifts across these days will be split across both new team members and this will be discussed further with the hiring manager at the appropriate stage.
You will be someone who can instantly engage with people and deliver an excellent customer experience as you will be dealing with the public receiving, sorting, and diverting goods that would otherwise go to Landfill. Rain, hail, shine (or wind!) you will be comfortable working at our operational site, on your feet with your high energy and positive attitude.

You will bring to this role : a good level of physical fitness excellent communication skills competency using computers (i.e., ability to learn the touchscreen point-of-sale operating system) and most importantly heaps of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
