Excavator Operator

Our client, a reputable and growing civil and drainage contracting company, is looking for multi-skilled Digger Operators to join their team in Christchurch.

With a strong forward workload across a variety of residential, commercial and civil projects – including schools, commercial building sites, kerb and channel, subdivisions and infrastructure projects – this is your chance to be part of a team making a real mark on the local landscape.

About the Role :

You’ll be operating diggers up to 10T across diverse sites, confidently handling work in tight spaces, working safely around live services, digging trenches, footpath prep, earthworks the list is endlist! There is plenty of variety in your role.

Projects range from subdivisions and civil works to commercial builds and residential developments.

What We’re Looking For :

• Proven experience operating excavators (up to 10T)
• Background in drainage, trenching, footpath prep, final trim, earthwork - any or all of these are beneficial.
• Able to work safely and efficiently in tight-access sites
• Comfortable switching between commercial and civil environments
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
