This important role is based at our Head Office in Papatoetoe and reports to our Chief Financial Officer.

Due to the resignation of our Team Member, we now require a full-time, permanent person to fulfil the role ofSenior Financial Accountant.

You'll be playing an important role in ensuring our Team are fully supported to contribute strongly to improvements in processes and systems.

What you will do :

Provide strategic finance leadership, expertise and advice to the CFO and the business

Deliver financial modelling and provide insights to the business for effective decision making.

Review / Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

Ensure compliance with the entity's tax obligations; and

Contribute strongly to improvements in processes and systems

Your profile

Proven experience in a wide-remit Accountant role where you have demonstrated financial and commercial capability.

Initiative, proactiveness and drive

Strong background in management reporting

Exposure to / hands on experience with the requirements of NZX-listed companies

Demonstrated advanced MS Excel and ERP expertise and experience.

Proven financial modelling experience, data analysis, visualisation, and insights reporting.

Professionalism and integrity

Effective interpersonal skills and experience partnering cross-functionally
