Senior Accountant

Overview

Senior Accountant role at Colliers. This position leads financial operations and drives strategic decision-making across our New Zealand business units. It offers a leadership opportunity to shape financial outcomes and mentor a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end processes, revenue recognition reviews, and financial reporting
• Deliver insightful analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders across APAC and globally
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, aged debt reviews, and general ledger integrity
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic planning
• Support internal and external audits, including trust account compliance and year-end reporting
• Champion system optimisation and process improvements
• Supervise, mentor, and develop direct reports to enhance their skills and foster a collaborative team environment
