As Team Leader – Workplace Services based in either our Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch office, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and effective workplace operations across 50+ offices, supporting thousands of employees.
This includes managing fleet, travel, and commercial property operations.
Lead and develop a high-performing team delivering workplace, fleet, and travel services across Kainga Ora offices nationwide.
Manage workplace operations in a large, complex organisation, including fleet, travel, and commercial property.
Drive continuous improvement in workplace services and manage complex projects such as office relocations and refurbishments.
Build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders to support Kainga Ora's mission.
Nga Pumanawatanga Ou – What You Will Bring
A relevant tertiary qualification in property, facilities management, or business.
Experience leading and managing large teams.
Managing workplace operations in a large, complex organisation.
Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act
Ability to manage complex projects such as office relocations and refurbishments.
Strong skills in budgeting, procurement, and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in workplace technology solutions and digital communication tools.
Commercial property experience would be advantageous.
Experience working in the public sector would be advantageous.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Solutions focused and proactive.
Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships.
Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
