Whitiki Maurea is a Maori clinical service within the Waitemata District Mental Health Services Group.

We provide clinical treatment in mental health and addictions with a kaupapa Maori (cultural values and concepts) approach to tangata whai i te ora Maori who are living in the Waitemata catchment area.

About the role and About you

We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse who would like to join our multidisciplinary team and who has the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to help develop our service.

Your positive attitude, flexibility, strong clinical and administrative skills and proven ability to form good relationships with staff, tangata whai i te ora and their whanau will secure this interesting role.

We have an expectation that you will have a commitment to Te Reo me ona Tikanga.

Applicants should be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment to tangata whai i te ora and nursing guidance to our multi-disciplinary team of health professionals.
