As a Software Engineer in the Business Automation Terrestrial Software team, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that are fundamental to Rocket Lab's mission success.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full software lifecycle, from conception of solutions for intricate challenges to ensuring the dependability of critical systems that support mission planning, launch vehicle configuration, ground station reservations, and production floor optimization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain software systems that support Rocket Lab's business and mission-critical operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the full software lifecycle.Contribute to solution conception and ensure reliability of complex systems.Address challenges across areas such as mission planning, launch vehicle configuration, ground station reservations, and production optimization.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years professional experience within a relevant discipline.Confidence in full stack TypeScript application development.Confidence in relational databases and object-relational mappers.Ability to understand complex technical challenges and write clean, maintainable, scalable code.Experience with MVC frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.).
