PART TIME - Sales / Retail - New Stores in Levin

Overview

The Heart of Rimu Furniture Co ( is looking for a part time salesperson / retail assistant to assist our new manager and to join our family owned team in our new, exciting location in Levin. We have a dual purpose role available, as we will also have a new JoJo's Sweet Treats store ( in the same location (2 x shops in one building) opening very shortly. We're looking for a charismatic, intelligent, outgoing, friendly individual who is strong (as heavy lifting is involved, including furniture and boxes of lollies!!) who has a full NZ driver license and experience is given to individuals with sales experience. Weekend work is required, but the hours and roster can be flexible for the suitable applicant. This is a PART TIME POSITION ONLY. Relaxed atmosphere and selling quality NZ made Rimu Furniture with excellent quality and service is what we have built our reputation on and the person we are looking for should be self motivated, friendly and have the desire to treat the store as if it its own.

Responsibilities

We LOVE working with our products, and the person we are seeking must be able to organise their time well and switch between the dual roles in the store (one minute selling furniture, the next minute selling lollies!). It's a fun environment and we're very proud of what we do. You must not be afraid of hard work and the ability to use a computer (uploading photos / taking pictures / writing descriptions about products / advertising / math / writing etc) are all part of the job, working with the new manager of the site.
