With production units in Europe, North-America and the worldwide SCHOTT sales organization Lighting and Imaging is a leading supplier for fiber optic components.Your ContributionUnder close supervision, sets up and operates various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers.Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications; refers questionable product to more experienced operators.Performs routine machine / equipment maintenance and inspection.Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.Accurately enters Database / SAP transactions in the computer.Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.Your ProfileMust be able to read, write, and speak English.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated and results oriented.Ability to work in a team oriented environment.Good manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination.Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.Your BenefitsSCHOTT's openness to promote your further development is just as great as our additional benefits.
