With some of our team moving to support the new Prestons store, we're looking for a motivated and experienced individual to step into a 2IC role in our Paint department.What You'll Be DoingSupporting the department team leader in daily operations and team coordinationProviding expert advice on paint types, finishes, and colour matchingAssisting customers with product selection for interior and exterior projectsManaging stock levels, merchandising displays, and promotional setupsTaking charge of the department when the team leader is awayPaint Department HighlightsWorking with top brands like Resene, Dulux, and WattylAdvising on primers, sealers, and specialty coatingsUsing colour tinting systems and helping customers match shadesSupporting DIYers and tradies with technical product knowledgeWhat We're Looking ForRetail experience, ideally with some leadership exposureStrong communication and people skillsA proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learnOrganisational skills and attention to detailLegal right to work in New ZealandWhy Join Us?
