New Windsor School is seeking a dynamic and organised learning support coordinator (LSC) to join our senior leadership team. This is a chance to lead with compassion and purpose in a richly diverse community where every ākonga is supported to thrive – confident, creative, collaborative, respectful, responsible, and resilient.

We are looking for a self‑motivated leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a great sense of humour. You will work at a leadership level to strengthen inclusive practices and enhance teacher capability to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will :

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of the NZ Curriculum , assessment practices, and effective organisation.
• Have proven experience supporting learners with learning support, neurodiverse, or disability needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, whānau, community, and outside agencies.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers / kaiako to enhance inclusive teaching and learning.
• Be committed to culturally responsive practice and uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi .

You will bring energy, empathy, and a passion for ensuring equity and excellence for all learners. As part of our professional and caring team, you’ll help shape systems and practices that empower teachers and tamariki to succeed.

This is a learning support coordinator role with negotiated release time and two permanent management units (MUs).
