We are looking for Civil Engineers to join our dedicated and passionate team in our Christchurch office to work with key clients in the water, energy and transport infrastructure sectors.

Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects across the South Island, but you will also have the opportunity to work on projects throughout Aotearoa, in Australia and across the Pacific.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects on time and to budget, while meeting clients' needs and expectations

Communicate proactively and positively ensuring that team members, managers and clients are well informed of your project tasks

Collaboratively undertake conceptual designs through to detailed design, contract procurement and construction administration with a small team

Proactively take on learning opportunities to improve your technical skills, design process and explore new technology

Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills

Foster client relationships that contribute to repeat business

About you

Your Passion, Design And Problem-solving Mindset Will Be Matched With a Desire To Work As a Team On Meaningful And Significant Multidisciplinary Projects.

You Will Also

Have a qualification in Civil Engineering with two to six years previous experience in a consulting or construction environment, working on infrastructure projects across the water, energy and / or transport markets

Experience in general civil site design, stormwater design, and / or road and transport design would be advantageous

Bring a 'can do' attitude and enjoy working in teams

Be passionate about learning from others and developing yourself

Be a self-starter – proactive and motivated to deliver great solutions for your clients

Although not essential, if you have some knowledge or experience in design packages like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Open Roads Designer (ORD), or 12D, we would love to hear about it.

We also like to have fun along the way, so a good sense of humour will hold you in good stead.
