Roadway Project Engineer IWe have an exciting career opportunity for a Project Engineer with our Civil Roadway team in Tennessee!

The ideal candidate has experience with civil transportation design and comprehensive knowledge of roadway projects and developing plans in accordance with local DOT standards.LocationThis position will report to our Franklin or Nashville office on a hybrid work schedule.The Impact You Will HaveWork closely with senior staff to deliver transportation projectsAbility to work independently within a design team to execute project work plansBe accountable for budgets and schedules provided by the Project ManagerMentor junior staffInteract with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholdersWhat You Will NeedA minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experienceLicensed PE in the state of TN or able to obtain licensure through comity within one yearB.S.

Degree in Civil EngineeringExperience working with public agencies, private entities and / or municipalitiesProgressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirementsExcellent communication and client relation skillsStrong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedulesAdvanced use of MicroStation and Geopak.
