OverviewCommunity Support Worker - ResidentialPermanent Part-time - 32 hours per week$23.50 - $29.10 per hourHutt Valley locationAt Spectrum Care, we provide support for adults with intellectual and / or physical disabilities to live great lives.Being a Permanent Reliever means that no two days are the same.

You will get to work with a wide variety and range of people from different backgrounds and with varying support needs.

As a Permanent Reliever, you will have the opportunity to work from multiple residential sites, depending on the staffing needs of the houses.People with an intellectual disability want the same things as you and I.

They just want someone to show them the way, not do it for them but to teach them.

Support Workers are not careers.

If you are observant, have real listening skills and appreciate diversity then you are off to a good start.

We want people that can think on their feet, have energy to get out and about.

People that are willing to get in a pool, not watch from the sides.

You will need to adapt your communication style to fit our people's needs and be ready for a variety of opinions.
