Community Support Worker - ResidentialFull-Time - 40 hours per week$23.50-$29.10Titahi Bay location We currently have roles with our children's respite house at Spectrum Care covering early mornings, after school, evenings and weekends.
We're looking for team members to help kids and teenagers with intellectual disabilities to feel safe and have fun while staying at our respite house inTitahi Bay.
You will need to know how to liven things up, and calm things down, to notice how children are feeling, and to provide them with guidance, comfort or support as needed.
You will need to be vigilant, warm, and creative.
Additionally, as the children have a vast range of communication styles, an ability or interest in learning to find effective ways to communicate is very much preferred.Skills & Experience
