About the Role

HealthcareAssistants are instrumental in providing care to patients and supporting theclinical team. As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist nursing staff with patientcares whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment on the ward. This isa very hands‑on ward and you will be responsible for personal care - assistingpatients with showering, feeding etc and making beds.

About the Team

The Parkside GroundMedical Ward based at Christchurch Hospital consists of 33 beds, spread acrosstwo wings, East and West. In February 2026 the service will be relocating to Ward 15, a medical ward of 30 beds. We are a supportive and passionate team who like tohave fun and celebrate success and where coming to work feels like a family. Ifyou love a fast‑paced environment, and the challenge of thinking on your feet,this role will appeal to you!
