Overview
A vacancy has arisen for a Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician to manufacture bodily worn medical devices and artificial limbs and to provide technical support within the technical team at Woodend Hospital.
Prosthetic and orthotic technicians play a vital role in supporting clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care. Technicians are involved in the manufacture and adjustment of prosthetic and orthotic devices that enhance the lives of individuals with limb loss or mobility impairments.
The successful candidate will join an established highly experienced team to support delivery of the highest standards of patient care in the most responsive, flexible and efficient way possible across NHS Grampian.
The successful candidate will be supported through an individually tailored induction and development programme, based on their current level of knowledge, skills and experience.
