About the Role

As a Highway Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for :

Leading maintenance operations.

Managing teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors.

Overseeing asset management, maintenance planning, budgeting, and quality control.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Working closely with local councils, national agencies (e.g., Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency), and key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in highway or infrastructure maintenance management.

Strong leadership and project management skills.

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Familiarity with asset management systems and performance-based contracts.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Willingness to relocate to New Zealand (visa support available).
