Join the 45 South harvest team for the

cherry season in vibrant Cromwell, Central Otago – New Zealand's cherry capital!

45 South Management Ltd, one of New Zealand's leading cherry exporters, is seeking 150+ enthusiastic cherry pickers to start in late December

and early January

.Cherry Picker ResponsibilitiesHand-pick ripe cherries to meet strict quality standardsFill buckets efficiently and accuratelyAdhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocolsWork diligently to meet daily targets while maintaining fruit qualityRequirementsValid NZ Work Visa (we are unable to offer sponsorship)Physically capable of climbing ladders, bending, and liftingExperience with ladders or fruit picking (cherry picking experience a plus)Reliable, motivated, and committed to completing the full harvest seasonPositive attitude and strong work ethicCompliance with health, safety, and orchard policiesWorking ConditionsOutdoor work in varying summer weather (we cannot pick during rain)Early morning shifts, leaving late afternoons free to enjoy Central Otago's summerClosed-toe shoes and sun-protective clothing requiredWhat We OfferA supportive, reputable employer known for valuing seasonal workersCompetitive hourly pay plus daily production bonusesPerformance and loyalty bonus for staying the full seasonAccommodation options (campsites and beds) availableBe part of an exciting harvest season with 45 South Cherries.
