About The Role

As a Sports Field Labourer, you will be hands-on during the busy sport seasons such as cricket season, preparing and maintaining high-quality sports turfs across the Marlborough region.

Your day-to-day duties will include :

Turf maintenance including daily mowing and rolling

Preparation of pitches including putting the covers on and taking them off

General field and park maintenance as needed before the sports games kick off

What We\'re Looking For

As a team, we want to work with enthusiastic and motivated people, so you need to be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your team-mates should be "second nature".

You will also have :

A current full driver\'s licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles

Flexibility for weekend work will be required to ensure turfs are up to spec for playing, this will in turn allow for time after the weekend work

A passion for all things sports related is a must!

The willingness and ability to learn - you will be working alongside highly experienced team members able to provide you with training and support

Energetic, self-motivated with an awesome work ethic

We also offer a performance-based salary that is reviewed annually, and an annual wellness benefit of $300 after qualifying period and a work phone permitted for personal use.
