Can take a lead role in creating a learning environment in which there is an expectation that all akonga / learners will experience success in their learning

Has a passion for improving learning outcomes for all

Is committed to building positive learning-focused relationships

Can work collaboratively with others to lead the development and implementation of NZ Curriculum

Experience with The Code and The Learner First Maths will be an advantage

High levels of personal integrity

Has an active commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Has a strong sense of humour and fun.

The successful applicant will accept the condition of supporting, upholding, and being positively involved in the school's special character.

This is a Special Character (tagged) position therefore willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.

This position comes with 1 management unit plus 0.1 classroom release component.
