• Can take a lead role in creating a learning environment in which there is an expectation that all ākonga / learners will experience success in their learning

• Is committed to building positive learning-focused relationships
• Can work collaboratively with others to lead the development and implementation of NZ Curriculum
• Experience with The Code and The Learner First Maths will be an advantage
• High levels of personal integrity
• Has an active commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Has a strong sense of humour and fun.

The successful applicant will accept the condition of supporting, upholding, and being positively involved in the school's special character.

This is a Special Character (tagged) position therefore willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.

This position comes with 1 management unit plus 0.1 classroom release component.
