About the Role

We're looking for a Payroll Admin to join our team in Cromwell for the

This fixed-term role runs for

You'll work closely with our Auckland payroll team to process weekly payroll for up to 500 employees, answer pay queries, and make sure everything runs in line with New Zealand payroll legislation.

What the job involves :

Processing weekly payroll for seasonal staff

Calculating payable hours, bonuses, and deductions

Checking timesheets for accuracy and missing clock-ins / outs

Resolving payroll queries, including picking payroll issues

Ensuring pay rates are accurate and up to date

Communicating payroll-related information to management

Following NZ employment law and payroll legislation

What We're Looking For

You're organised, detail-focused, and confident working with numbers and data.

You are :

Proficient in Excel – experience in using conditional formatting

Accurate and meticulous – numbers and details are your strength

Experienced in payroll processes – ideally you understand the end-to-end process

Knowledgeable about NZ employment law – bonus if you already know the basics

A strong team player – you collaborate and communicate clearly

Professional – you respect confidentiality and handle personal information with care

Calm under pressure – you can meet weekly deadlines without stress
