Position Overview
The candidate will support the IT Management Office in strengthening institutional IT governance, risk, and compliance practices, and contribute to operational excellence through structured reporting and process improvement. The candidate should be comfortable exploring and analysing data.
Role & Responsibilities
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Coordinate and support IT audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Support management in responding effectively to internal and external auditors.
- Address the audit recommendations by working with responsible parties and mitigate risks identified.
- Monitor the implementation status of audit recommendations.
- Track and manage IT risk registers, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation of identified risks.
- Collate IT risks from incidents, make recommendations and prepare reports.
- Conduct periodic reviews including user access rights, audit logs, and system controls.
- Keep abreast of new industry trends and best practices relating to governance, risk and compliance.
Management Reporting & Operational Oversight
Prepare and consolidate IT operational updates for submission to various management forums.Develop and manage a centralized repository of IT governance materials to support institutional and cluster-wide initiatives.Track and maintain clear documentation of all IT processes, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current practices.Performance Tracking & BAU Reporting
Provide support to oversee SLA performance of the OneInfra Team and collaborate with the OneInfra Lead on continuous improvement initiatives.Track and report on IT performance metrics, project outcomes, and financial performance to ensure transparency and accountability.Provide regular reporting on IT achievements and performance to senior management and governance committees.Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree / diploma.Professional certifications in IT audit, risk or security from ISACA or (ISC)² would be advantageous.More than 3 years of relevant experience.Good problem analysis and resolution skills.Good coordination skills within the team, department and across departments.Proactive and consistently show initiative and solution-oriented.Apply Now
