We are seeking two Librarians to provide a critical role in enhancing the information literacy and research capabilities of UCOL Manawatu akonga and kaimahi.

This position is designed for an individual with broad expertise across specialist library disciplines, who can provide tailored support for academic programs while ensuring effective library services that meet the evolving needs of the UCOL community in Manawatu.

The Ideal Candidate WillBe outstanding at providing an open and welcoming service to all students, staff, and the wider communityBe organised, reliable, and a real team playerHave proficiency in using library management systems and digital tools for research and teachingHave a strong knowledge of research methodologies and academic writing skillsTertiary or professional qualification in Library or equivalent experience (Level 5)Ability to support and advocate for the use of te reo, tikanga, and matauranga Maori in the workplaceApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and may be required to undergo pre-employment checks, which may include completing NZ Police Vetting.We want your energy, creativity, passion, and intelligence.
