Join Synlait's technical team in Palmerston North this summer to support innovation in UHT cream processing and heat treatment technologies.Your RoleHere's what you will be doing : Contribute to one of two key projects with the Research & Development team from November to January.Project 1 : Review literature on UHT cream processing, develop a lab method for modelling heating of UHT cream, test prototype formulations, interpret results, and report findings.Project 2 : Review UHT cream formulations and processing, develop and test lab-scale heating and mixing techniques, perform product functionality tests, analyse data, interpret results, and prepare reports.Collaborate across teams within Synlait's technical and R&D departments.About YouThe company is looking for : Final year students studying food technology / science, food / process engineering, or a similar discipline.Curious individuals about the dairy industry and Synlait's operations.Eager learners with a proactive mindset.Flexible and open to varied, hands-on tasks.Strong communicators ready to collaborate across teams.Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand if applying from outside the country.How to ApplyInclude your most recent CV and a cover letter summarising your abilities and what you can bring to Synlait.
