RTLB Cluster 25 is offering a permanent position based in Whanganui, starting term 1, 2026.

This is your opportunity to explore a new branch of education, join an experienced and supportive team, and grow your professional expertise while supporting schools and kura across our region.As a resource teacher : learning and behaviour, you will play a vital role in supporting akonga with diverse needs.

You will work alongside kaiako to build capability, provide targeted support, and ensure that akonga experience positive outcomes.We are looking for a kaiako with strengths in any of the following areas : Behaviour managementLiteracyWe are looking for a kaiako who brings warmth, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills to their mahi.

You will be someone who collaborates well with others and contributes positively to our collegial team culture.In return, we offer an exciting and supportive professional pathway.

After one year in the role, you will be supported to complete the Massey University Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Learning and Behaviour) with tuition fully funded with a study award.

To meet this study requirement, applicants must already hold a degree.
