About the Role
As a Support Engineer at Pamu, you'll be the go-to person for Level 2 technical support, managing our device fleet and working on projects that keep our technology running smoothly for people who farm the land and feed the country.
This role is not about just following a script.
You'll use modern tools to manage our systems with autonomy, troubleshooting, resolving issues, and managing and configuring cloud platforms, deploying applications, and proactively managing system upgrades.
Not your typical support engineer role, it blends hands-on support and systems engineering – you'll not only troubleshoot but also manage and configure cloud platforms, deploy applications, and proactively manage system upgrades.
Why This Role Is Unique
Our farmers are out in remote locations.
You'll need to think creatively and stay calm under pressure to support them.
It's challenging but rewarding, as you see the impact of your work every day.
About Us
Pamu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand, delivering innovative and sustainable agriculture solutions for future generations.
About You
You're experienced, confident, and ready to own this role.
You've worked at this level before, managing systems, resolving complex issues, and keeping things running without supervision.
You're comfortable being the go-to person and making decisions when needed.
You'll Thrive Here If You
Enjoy variety and solving technical challenges.
Are confident working independently while still being a great team player.
Like having the freedom to take ownership and make things happen.
Can explain tech in plain language and build great relationships with people from all walks of life.
If you've supported Microsoft 365 environments, managed devices, and handled Level 2 support, you'll hit the ground running.
This role requires someone proactive, calm under pressure, and ready for a dynamic day-to-day.

We offer a competitive salary package including health and life insurance, enhanced parental leave benefits, up to 4% KiwiSaver matching, extra day of leave over Christmas, and ongoing training and development.
