Job descriptionAt least 3 years of experience in business development or data analysis. Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus / ferry companies, TMS etc.). Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data. Our tech stack : Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs. Previous experience would be a plus. Ability to make things happen and proactivity : close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the AU / NZ would be a plus. Ability to travel within the region. Previous remote work and industry related (transportation, OTA) experience would be a plus & Travel experience in the AU / NZ region would be a plus. We are looking for a Business Development Manager for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with all AU / NZ operators.
- Strategize on how to grow the local market particularly in AU / NZ .
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to promote the local market, and promote reseller / affiliate programs.
- Find new local operators in AU / NZ, find new deals, and try to maximize profit for the company from current operators.
- Assist Finance Team on reconciliation of balances / invoices, check on remaining deposits, and assist with sales estimation during peak season.
