Babcock is looking for a Technical Information Coordinator to join the Technical Library team based in Devonport, Auckland.

About the role

Join Babcock NZ in a pivotal role supporting the Royal New Zealand Navy.

As a Technical Information Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our technical library, ensuring engineering documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant.

You'll work closely with the Centre of Engineering and Configuration Management teams, helping maintain configuration baselines and supporting operational excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence capability while developing your expertise in document control and configuration management.

With experience managing technical documentation and libraries, you understand the importance of accuracy and compliance.

You're confident using Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and you communicate clearly across teams.

You're ready to support the RNZN and Babcock with precision and pride, contributing to national defence through your expertise in configuration and document control.

Key Required Qualifications

Hold a technical vocational qualification or equivalent

Project management or administration experience

Proven experience in managing engineering documentation or technical libraries

Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices
