Babcock is looking for a Technical Information Coordinator to join the Technical Library team based in Devonport, Auckland.

About The Role

Join Babcock NZ in a pivotal role supporting the Royal New Zealand Navy. As a Technical Information Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our technical library, ensuring engineering documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant. You’ll work closely with the Centre of Engineering and Configuration Management teams, helping maintain configuration baselines and supporting operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence capability while developing your expertise in document control and configuration management.

About You

You are detail‑driven, organised, and thrive in structured environments. With experience managing technical documentation and libraries, you understand the importance of accuracy and compliance. You’re confident using Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and you communicate clearly across teams.

You take initiative, meet deadlines, and enjoy solving problems independently. You’re ready to support the RNZN and Babcock with precision and pride, contributing to national defence through your expertise in configuration and document control. You’re not just capable—you’re committed.

Key Required Qualifications

  • Hold a technical vocational qualification or equivalent
