OverviewProtech Automotive Solutions is looking for highly talented, dedicated and quality-focused teammates to provide top tier service to our customers.Job SummaryMobile Service Technicians will complete air conditioning service, automotive repairs, on site scanning support, wire repairs and diagnostics within their market area.Compensation$28 to $35 per flag hourRoles & ResponsibilitiesCustomer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistencyPerform Air Conditioning Evacuation & RechargeTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical repairsUnderstand and complete estimating, invoicing, part identification, pre and post quality control checklistsAdequately explain technical diagnoses and repair planning needs to include shop personnel, insurance adjusters, and customersUtilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and Virtual support team resources to make the most effective recommendationsTest drive vehicles after repairs are completedCheck all parts for quality and accuracy before installingComplete assigned training and certifications, to include continuing education coursesCommunicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivityMaintain a well-organized work areaResponsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediatelyAccountable for assigned inventoryIncluding : Laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment providedDevelop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core valuesQualifications, Education & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years automotive repair experienceTrade school experience a plusASE or I-CAR certifications a plusKnowledge of diagnostic scan tools and factory softwareObtain AC certification & follow safety standardsExcellent customer service and communication skillsKnowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficientlySelf -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused visionRequirementsMust be at least 21 years of ageMust have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR checkAbility to pass a background checkMust be able to lift 60 pounds independentlyTravel may be required for continuing education and certification trainingRequires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stoopingRequires frequent driving of company and customer vehiclesExtensive travel within assigned area is expectedMay have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicalsAbility to work in a shop environment in inclement weatherRequired to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
